For the past few weeks, I have been receiving calls as to whether students with Awaiting results can register for Jambsince they are yet to write Waec and Neco.
Many candidates are wondering whether they can put awaiting results in their Jamb Form and then upload them when the results are released.
The good news is that you can register for Jamb even when you have not written Waec or Neco yet. You can also register Post UTME in your school when your results are yet to be released by Waec or Neco. This is called using awaiting results to register Jamb.
When you get to the approved Jamb registration center, simply tell them, I don’t have an O level result. They will immediately understand and know what to do. Make sure you know your Waec subjects since you may need them.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that candidates with Awaiting results can apply for Jamb UTME. Such candidates must have gotten their results at the point of admission into their institution.
The board equally stated that JAMB will not deny any Candidate the right to quality education. During registration, those with results will upload their results, while Awaiting Result candidates will not upload any. This will not in any way qualify them or make them less preferred to those with results.
So if you hope to apply for UTME using An awaiting result, go ahead and do so. JAMB will not disqualify you for that. Don’t waste time, quickly practice Jamb past questions and hot topics for all subjects for free. Download Flashlearners Jamb App and Start Learning…
