In this article we would be looking at UNICAL 33rd Convocation ceremony and registration guidelines to graduands.

Convocation Registration Guidelines to Graduands
These are the guidelines for the convocation registration. All graduands should adhere strictly to the instructions below
Collection of Gowns for First Degree Graduands
All graduands are required to obtain their convocation gown from their respective Faculty Officers on the payment of a deposit of N4,000.00 (Four Thousand Naira only).
A refund of N1,000.00(Two Thousand Naira) will be made when the gown is returned. Graduands who have not returned their gowns by March 18, 2020, will attract a fine of N1,000.00 (per day).
Guidelines for School of Post Graduate Studies Graduands
1. Outright Purchase of Academic Gowns
(a) Ph.D gowns = N59,500.00 each
(b) Masters gowns = N30,000.00 each
2. The hiring of Academic Gowns
Masters/PGDs gowns = N12,500.00 each
Please note that all academic gowns hired from the Graduate School must be returned within seven (7) days from the date of the convocation. Anyone who fails to adhere to this, will be sanctioned as appropriate.
B. Invitation Cards to Parents/Guardian
The Faculty officer will be issuing two invitation cards to every Graduand. Each Graduand is therefore entitled to two guests only.
C. Procession
The Convocation Procession will adhere strictly to the Keffi Protocol for the conduction of the Convocation.
Graduands should be on robes and, join the procession in their various Faculties. Graduands who are not on their robe will not be allowed into the convocation arena. Photographers will not be allowed to take shots during the procession. All photographs will be taken after the convocation.
D. Prizes and Awards
Prizes and Awards will be announced during the convocation. Recipients will collect their awards/prize value on presentation of a letter of an award at the University Bursary.
E. Alumni Membership Registration
Graduands will be expected to complete registration forms for alumni membership from their Faculty Officers and pay the membership registration fee.
