What is the ultimate love reality show all about?

Ultimate Love Nigeria is a TV love reality show for singles organized by MultiChoice Nigeria, the organizers of BBnaija. The show commenced on February 9th, 2020.

This is the Game. 16 singles featuring 8 males and females (strangers to be precise). They will be locked up in a house for eight weeks to see if they can find love. For this period of 8 weeks, there will be weekly voting by viewers for their desired and favourite contestants.

The ultimate target is finding love but there will be other mouth-watering prizes including an all-expense-paid traditional wedding ceremony and a fully furnished dream home — if the winning couple decides to get married.

What distinguishes this show from BBnaija is that the contestants will have access to the outside world during the show.

Ultimate love reality show starts on Sunday 9th, February 2020 at 7:30 pm.

WHO ARE THE HOSTS OF ULTIMATE LOVE REALITY SHOW?

Well, we know the hosts already, they are Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson Akande and radio OAP and compere, Oluwaseun P. Olaniyan. They are the co-hosts of the Ultimate Love reality tv show.

Dakore Egbuson-Akande is a multiple award-winning Film/Stage Actor and TV personality. She has appeared in many Nollywood films. She is also a humanitarian involved in several advocacy causes and community outreaches as seen in her work for Amnesty International, United Nations, the European Union and most recently, ActionAid Nigeria.

Oluwaseun P. Olaniyan is a Media Creative, Event Compere and Conference Facilitator who co-pioneered the award-winning radio show, Morning Crossfire on Nigeria Info 99.3FM. He has also produced and presented other interesting weekly shows.

They are to work together to bring enough excitement to the show.

Highlights of the Show

The features of the Ultimate Love reality show are the Love pad, Ultimate Love chat room, and the aunty.

The Love Pad

The Love Pad is the Ultimate Love House where contestants are housed with 24 house LIVE television cameras and personal audio microphone.

Ultimate Love Chat Room

The Ultimate Love Chat Room is a secluded area of the Love Pad (house) where contestants will be able to communicate with their loved one(s) in the outside world.

Aunty

Aunty is the Ultimate Love character; she acts as their coach and mentor in the Love Pad. Her job is to help singles in the Love Pad find their perfect partner and provide them with counsel where necessary.

Like of Biggie of Big Brother’s house, there’ll be an Aunty in the Love Pad.

Adesuwa Onyenokwe, the Editor-in-Chief of Today’s Woman magazine. will be playing the role of Aunty.

The pairing principle

For now, the contestants are all things, hopefully! Since they are still strangers to each other, so They’ll live together for 2 weeks before getting paired into 8 couples, then they will have to work hard to be the last couple standing.

The ladies better make sure they find true love within 2 weeks to avoid trouble, we don’t want them to burn down the love pad. Because there will be no reshuffle.

The Tasks

The tasks in Big Brother’s house were mostly to challenge the Housemates mentally, physically and creatively. I’m pretty sure since its ultimate love, then the task will rally around finding the most romantic couples.

Nomination and Eviction

There will be nominations for Eviction as normal, they would not have to nominate the partner, because they are going to be evicted as couples.

I think multichoice Nigeria are drawing inspiration from the fact BBnaija could produce couples, so just decide to organize this one for strictly producing couples.
