The University was founded in 2011 and Its Name was gotten from the Founder of Springtime Development Foundation, Dr Adeleke, who wanted to build a university that builds individuals in terms of mind and character. The University admits students from all parts of the country.

The cut-off mark for the 2022/2023 academic session is 180, which means that a student who wishes to register for the Adeleke University POST UTME must obtain a score of not less than 180 in the recently finished JAMB examination to be eligible.
