I heard that Jamb has cancelled the whole results for the just-concluded Jamb UTME. This is the rumour I woke up to meet on Whatsapp. A question comes to mind, is it true that Jamb has cancelled results in all Nigeria CBT centres? It is not true.
Jamb didn’t cancel your result and the reason there is currently issue checking result is that Jamb is currently maintaining their portal. Jamb website didn’t get hacked. Finally, Jamb will not change the results that have been released already.

JAMB Likely To Cancel 50% of UTME Results In Some States Over Malpractice
There are strong indications that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board may cancel half of the results of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in some states.
This was revealed to newsmen by a senior official of JAMB who does not want his name to be mentioned. The official expressed disgust over the massive level of exam malpractice he said was recorded in the UTME.
According to the source, while all parts of the country were involved, the situation seems worst in certain states with what he described as “fearless display of fraudulent tactics by some individuals including parents and centre owners.”
He said Nigerians will be shocked if they are allowed to view the recordings of the CCTV Cameras from about 700 centres used during the examination.

Jamb Server Did Not Crash
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has debunked the rumours in some quarters that the board issued a press statement, explaining that the release of the UTME results was being delayed because its server crashed and that candidates should prepare for another examination. According to the board, the server did not crash and the results of candidates are still intact.
This was disclosed by the board’s Head of Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin on Wednesday in Lagos.
In his words, ”We want to distance ourselves from such malicious and wicked rumours by fraudulent persons, as there is no truth in them.”We did not issue any press statement concerning crashing of server. All these are antics of desperate persons trying to cause panic and confusion among candidates and the general public.
Why Has Jamb Not Released 2 Results
Jamb said that the reason they have not released results is that they are screening every result to confirm whether the candidate engaged in examination malpractice or not. If anyone is involved in expo, his/her result will be cancelled.
No result has been released by Jamb so far. However, we expect Jamb to release results before this week runs out. Below are dates for each of the days and the status of the results;
