When your Waec, Neco, or GCE Result hasn’t been released or isn’t available during Jamb registration, you can indicate that you don’t have O level result yet. In this case, you’re using awaiting result.
You are free to use awaiting result for Jamb and Post UTME. However, you need to upload the results to Jamb Portal immediately Waec releases results or Neco activates result checker.
One of the main reasons candidates using awaiting results get scared is because of publications sometimes made by top magazines and websites stating that Jamb has scraped awaiting result. Some even post that Jamb won’t admit you if you are using awaiting result.
Fact About Jamb Awaiting Result
I have explained this in one of my articles. Once again let me say it. Jamb will not and has not cancelled awaiting results.
If you have registered waec or Neco and still have interest in Jamb, feel free to register when the forms are still on sale. Before clearance begins, it is very certain that waec results will already be out.
Jamb and Universities have not stopped admitting candidates who choose to sit for Waec, Jamb and Post UTME the same year. Hope you found this fact useful?
Release of Awaiting O Level Results
Waec announced earlier that results for Waec will be out within 45 days after the exam. I believe this is pretty news for you. Your results shall be released early and will be available when required for uploading and before your school starts giving admission. Using awaiting result doesn’t affect your chance of admission in any way.
Those with awaiting results can register Jamb. Don’t listen to anybody or any other news. Feel free to register and upload your result to Jamb portal when it is released. I wish you good luck.
