One of the issues you may encounter while creating your Jamb profile through text messages is SMS sending failure. I have already explained how to solve the issue of SMS sending failure while creating jamb profile. You may want to click here to see the article.
In this article, I shall quickly address another challenge you would encounter while creating your Jamb 2024 profile. This is the issue of Invalid Character Found in the name supplied.
Someone just sent me this text, “After I sent my NAMES to 55019, I got this message from jamb invalid character found in the name submitted”
Just like the subject of the SMS implies, invalid characters are messages formats not approved or accepted by jamb. This issue of invalid character was rampant in Jamb 2019 when you have to send your names to 55019 to create Jamb profile.
According to Jamb, there should be spacing between your first name, middle name and surname. If you wrote all your names together (without spacing) it would not be accepted. If you names are entered correctly and you have enough airtime, then you should be good to go.
