IITA Youth Agripreneurs is calling for application from interested young people in Oyo, Abuja, Imo and Onne to participate in the 3 months incubation program organized for youths in the production, value addition, entrepreneurship, business plan development, and marketing skills in Cassava, Orange Fleshed Sweet Potato (OFSP), Aquaculture, Maize and Poultry.

The incubation program organized by the ENABLE-TAAT compact, being implemented by the IITA Youth Agripreneurs through the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation Program (TAAT) project, is positioned to assist young people establish youth-led agricultural enterprises along the TAAT priority agricultural commodities which are Cassava, Aquaculture, High Iron beans, Maize, Wheat, Orange Fleshed Sweet Potato, Rice, Small Livestock, Sorghum & Millet.
IITA Youth Agripreneurs is positioned to assist young people to choose a career path in agribusiness through its incubation platforms. The organization beliefs that agribusiness incubation is a viable strategy to transform the agriculture sector by smoothening the way for new, young farmers’ entrants. IYA conducts incubation along some chosen value chains for young entrants to learn and commercialize agricultural commodities.
