FUTA Admission Requirements For 2023/2024
Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into FUTA through JAMB (UTME):
In a maximum of two sittings, a minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level Credits of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE).
For your course, you must select the appropriate JAMB subject combination.
To get admitted to the Federal University of Technology Akure, candidates must score at least 160 in the recently concluded JAMB UTME examination.
FUTA should be your first choice of college.
To be eligible for admission, if any is available for the year, you must participate in the FUTA POST UTME/SCREENING.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
FUTA Requirements For Direct Entry (DE) 2023/2024
Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into the Federal University of Technology Akure through Direct Entry:
In a maximum of two sittings, a minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level Credits of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE).
Candidates must have passed two subjects relating to their field of study at ‘A’ level/IJMB.
Passes in related topics at JUPEB/A’ Level.

Candidates for direct entrance must acquire the FUTA Direct Entry form from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the FUTA Portal.
