How to Register on Barclaycard
Barclaycard Secure is a free service that offers clients the capability to guard their online buying and selling against fraud. When going through online checkout you may be asked to enter your selected password including your card info. Without the password, the transaction will not go through.
You will be invited to register for Barclaycard Secure the first time you make an online transaction that requires a password.
Your Barclaycard Secure password must contain between 6 and 15 characters, and must contain at least 1 letter and 1 number, and must not be similar to either your login name or personal message.

What you need before you register
- In order to use Barclaycard Secure, you must provide us with certain personal details (your Personal Information) to identify you. You agree that the Personal Information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- The company will confirm your Personal Information against information held by us and by independent third parties.
- You will be needed to choose a password, a username, and a personal message. Together these are your Security Details.
- The personal message will be displayed each time you make a purchase online with a participating retailer.
- We may refuse your application to register if your Personal Information you provide is inadequate or incomplete, or we are unable to verify your Personal Information.
- If any of the Personal Information that you have provided to us changes you must notify us immediately so that we can update our records.
- Any additional cardholder will be required to register separately to use Barclaycard Secure.
What happens if you forget your login details?
In order to reset your security information online, what will be needed is your Barclaycard details so that we can ratify your identity and protect your account info from being accessed by an unauthorized person.
If you have forgotten your Username/ID number, click on the ‘Forgotten…’ the link below the Username/ID number field and you can complete the login process by entering your card number. This can be found on the front of your Barclaycard and on paper statements.
If you have forgotten your passcode or your memorable word, click the ‘Forgotten…’ link below the related field and follow the on-screen instructions. You will need your Barclaycard to hand.
You can return to the relevant screens and the ‘Forgotten’ links at any time in order to complete the login process.
If you require a replacement card, you’ll need to contact our Customer Services Team to order a new card.
