I have already explained how to check admission status on Jamb caps portal. However, the CAPS option is reportedly missing when some candidates log in to their Jamb profile on Jamb Website.
Most times, this is temporary. It will be updated when Jamb starts giving admission. All you need to do is visit www.jamb.org.ng/efacility and log in with your Jamb email and password; then locate CAPS under check admission status.
JAMB CAPS Stands for JAMB Central Admission Processing System. It was introduced by Jamb a few years ago.
Now, if Jamb starts giving admission and you still can’t locate the CAPS Option, then you will need to visit any Jamb office close to you or Computer-Based Centre (Where you registered Jamb) to complain. They will be more than willing to assist you.
Course And Institution Blank On Jamb Caps Portal
Some candidates are able to login to their Jamb CAPS but only to find out that their course and Institution is blank.
Let me explain this, when you login to Jamb portal, your details like Jamb Reg, course, Institution, UTME Subject Combination and admission status are displayed in the CAPS section. However, some candidates don’t see CAPS Option even when they click on check admission status.
You don’t need to panic since the mistake is not from you. The fact that your course and institution are blank or not displayed doesn’t mean that you will not be offered admission. When Jamb offers you admission, the details should update.
Some persons believe this the issue of blank course and Institution implies that you did not register Jamb properly. But this is not true… If your course and institution is shown in your Jamb slip, then you did the right thing during Jamb registration.
