Some students are serious with their studies and others are not. The ones who are serious take their studies seriously and put in all their effort to ensure they do well. Students that don’t take their studies seriously tend to be absent from school most of the time. That is a sign that they don’t care much about what is going on in the school.
They prefer enjoying themselves to present in school and learning something new every day.
Lack of Commitment
School requires a long-time commitment. Commitment to all school activities, authorities, and teachers. Students that cannot stay committed are a sign of seriousness.

Laziness and Procrastination
One of the greatest attributes of unserious students is laziness. They are very lazy to do assignments and homework given to them by their teachers.
Unserious ones are lazy to read, study and engage in school activities. They procrastinate every time what they should do now.
Misplaced Priorities
Here is another sign of unserious students. And the reason they are are unserious is misplacing priorities every time. They focus on other activities than school activities and their studies.
For instance, some students will go to clubs, parties, football stadiums to enjoy themselves and have fun in a few days to their examinations.

Lack of Enthusiasm
Students who lack interest in what is going on in school tend to be unserious. It is just like forcing them to go to school.
They find it difficult to comply with the school rules and regulations and teacher’s instructions in class.
Cheating in Class or Exam
Most of the students who cheat in exams are the unserious ones who don’t read nor study what they are teaching them in class.
You rarely find serious ones cheating in exams but the unserious ones. They are the ones who depend on examination malpractices to pass both school and external exams.
Unserious students don’t know that they are deceiving themselves and not their parents and teachers.
